You can also change your resolution through you video card utilities. The driver for the display adaptor on the laptop is also not available for a windows 10 update at the moment. I checked the manufacturer web site and it only shows a Windows 7 driver.

I have asked them if there is a compatible driver for another model of display adapter but so far no useful reply.

I have had to roll back the upgrade to Windows 7 so that I can use my laptop. I will check again in a couple of months to see if the drivers are made available but it looks like I'm stuck with Windows 7. My monitor also requires a resolution x and on the Windows Update the latest NVIDIA Driver is downloaded which is then thrown out by Windows due to a Code 43 Error, then switching to the Basic Generic Microsoft Driver with a lower resolution resulting in a black frame around the monitor.

When will this issue be sorted out? Got tired of chasing my own tail having to reinstall the old Windows 8 driver after the updated Windows 10 driver resulted in the Code 43 error.

This solved the problem for me Windows 10 is now working with the new Graphics Card with no more Code 43 Error message.
